Adventures: The Museum of Peoples & Cultures

Wednesday, August 31, 2011

This shouldn't really count as an "adventure" but let's talk about it anyway!
BYU's Museum of Peoples and Cultures was on my Summer List and when we found ourselves without anything to do on a Wednesday afternoon, we headed over to 100 E and 700 N.

It's in a cute little old brick house! And the museum consists of two (yes, only two) rooms. But chances are, you will be the only ones there. So enjoy the peace and quiet!

This was the first of the two exhibits that were on display at the time of our visit. I love Latin American culture and art!

Look at that detail!! (Click the photo to enlarge).

This is from the exhibit about the archeology of Utah Valley. Super interesting to find out more about the cultures that lived in this area thousands of years ago.

If you have a half an hour to spare on campus, this is a good quiet place to visit! :)

P.S. We went tubing down the Provo River this weekend with Holly and Morgan and it was awesome! We used old school tubes from Nate's aunt. So much fun!
