We need the friendship, sisterhood and solidarity of the mothers who bear with us. 

We need the wisdom and perspective of the mothers who bore us. 

The mother who bore us includes all mother-mentors of the previous generation. 

Mothers who bear with us say, "yes, me too."

Mothers who bore us say, "it gets better."

Mothers who bear with us are for playgroups and trips to the museum. 

Mothers who bore us are for date nights and loving our children as much as we do.

We need them both. Let us appreciate them. Let us be them.
