So after 3 years, I have finally grown my hair to the desired length. It's super long. Mid-back long. But now it is completely unmanageable. Which could have to do with the fact that I wash it right before bed, sleep on it wet...and wake up to a crazy frizz...which turns into a bun on top of my head. (Way too many times a week.) So I have been eying this do on Anne Hathaway:
Which would be great because I have been wanting to donate my hair to Locks of Love (and now is the perfect time!). But how can I let my length go?? Especially after seeing this:
I'm so indecisive about this! It's a big deal!
What do you think? Keep in long or chop it off?
Lacey - I say go a little shorter! It'd be darling! My hair was waaay too long and unmanageable this summer. I hated doing it. I only cut 4 or 5 inches off and it made me feel like a completely different person. I've loved it! So much easier and more fun to do, and way more flattering on my face. I don't feel like a cave woman anymore with all that hair. :)
ReplyDeleteKeep it long! I had long hair and then cut it off because "it's only hair and it will grow back," but like you said, it took you three years! and so far, my hair has hit just below my shoulders after 1 1/2 years. Its not worth it. lol I've accepted defeat and stuck with the short-ish hair. I'm super envious of anyone who can pull off the Zooey look.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same debate right now! I love being able to do things with long hair and not having to do my hair all of the time, but I see so many shorter hair cuts that are so cute! It's a hard decision! I loved your hair short though and I love that Anna Hathoway hairstyle! :)
ReplyDeletesince your hair is so thick, you could have a stylist thin it out. that way you can keep the length but not the bulk...
ReplyDeletehair is hard! especially after growing it out for a long time! you have a great face shape for either cuts though. I'm a short hair girl myself, and Anne's cut is still long enough to do A LOT with, but you do really have to rock short hair. And there is something wispy and romantic about long hair. so basically, I'm no help at all. :)

I agree with Mandi . . Try a haircut that you can style manageably without chopping it all off.
