Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! We actually got to spend it with my Granny! Such a treat! Having family close for holidays is such a blessing!
Well my first turkey. It's one of those experiences we will laugh about for a long time. Just a real adventure!
It's looks great in these photos, but it would refuse to cook through!
Even though we thawed it for days, it must have been partially frozen inside. Who knows? We ate what we could and laughed about the rest. The Pioneer Woman's mashed potatoes really came through. As well as Rhode's rolls and some delicious turkey juice gravy! And of course, Granny's delicious dressing.
All in all, we have a lot to be grateful for, despite a stubborn turkey!

aww man i had the same problem with my turkey! but i only had the turkey breast so mine actually cooked through all the way through (it took like an hour longer than it was supposed to.)
